Random things to do around London but mainly West London. Whatever gets suggested, concerts, festivals, comedy, dinners, pub quizzes etc - open to anyone - Started this to try out creating a random group to do some random things. At least then there will hopefully always be someone up for something!

This is a spontaneous meetup group, which is completely random and is open to anything within reason. Meetups will be spontaneous - activities/times/locations(central london) may change and sometimes be at very short notice - so keep checking back for updates.
For South London residents who like a pub (or two), a stroll, a chat and to explore the hidden delights of this part of London. We are a friendly, sociable and spontaneous group combining pubs, bars, walks, music / cinema / theatre / bar / clubbing events, South London exploration and a happy helping of randomness.
Greetings Everyone! This group was created by Canucks for Canucks (or anyone who has lived in Canada or interested in it.) And is mainly a casual group which meets at random times in random places for great conversation, food and drinks! … I don't want random people to just join 'just for fun' or whatever, there are plenty of other groups for that. If you want to join this group is because you are looking for something similar to what I described in more details above, you share a common interest. Don't join just for random reasons, I will remove you.

For people who really want to catch that new band but not as the random standing by themselves at the back of the bar...
Intention is to keep it to small gigs with entry < £10 of a variety of genres - including but definitely not limited to indie/alternative/acoustic/rock/fol

… Walks, art events, Private views (with free booze), history events, galleries, meuseams, celebrations, Photography, Classes, guides, qwerky events, on occasion some random ones, generally just getting out there and doing stuff together and finishing with drinks and banter. Ultimatly the members of the group will also be able to chose what events they would like to attend as its the meetup members that make the meetup so feel free to make sudgestions via ideas or the discuussion boards. We aim to have an event or two every month with either a specific theme (chosen by members) or a non-themed random party, or a fun alternate event in London. London is a great place to dress in silly outfits. It really breaks down the barriers with other Londoners and tourists - you end up having a brilliant night. Please join and suggest themes, venues etc.
Hellou! =) We all deserve a good laugh! In the laughter sessions we have a fun time, meet amazing people, and get to be children again hahaha… really fun! If you feel like uplifting your mood, feeling happy and motivated EVERYDAY…. even during winter… there is a very simple way of doing it through laughter. What I love the most is the connection with people! I love those random moments when you start laughing with friends or strangers about anything… and you just can’t stop it, have a laugh …

… This allows for better socialising and helps keep the group a "community" rather than a random Meetup group. Some SIMPLE RULES to keep this a quality, fun experience: Lateness and "no shows" aren't accepted, you will be removed from the group if you "no show" twice or give any other cause to do so such as constant lateness etc. Hopefully we're all nice smart girlies here so this won't be the case! Smart, fun girlies = quality times and lasting friendships :) Note: I also have a "mixed" Meetu …

… If you remove your picture or you have a random pic of a flower etc, you will be removed from the group. Our events are very, very popular and so we have a very strict policy with no-shows, they are immediately removed from the group. Places usually get snapped up within the hour -yuu may need to put the meetup app on your phone or make sure your emails get through quickly. I do have a cull regularly; people who haven't visited the webpage for over 3 months are removed - that means those of you …
I recently moved to London and can't think of a better way to meet a new community of creative queer folks than with some good, old-fashioned stuff-making. Envisioning some general crafty evenings/afternoons where folks bring whatever they're working on individually as well as skill-share workshops where we teach each other specialized/advanced skills that we've mastered through our own trial and error. Jewelry-making? Lip balm? DIY screen printing? Whatever random thing you last pinned on Pinte …
… The classes have a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and it's more like a community than a random exercise class. The social side has been just as encouraging for me - it's provided the chance to meet fascinating people and make new friends. I'd recommend the class to anyone. … I am committed to this being an active and flourishing community of friends, not just a large group of random strangers who meet up every once in a while. This requires participation from ALL members. As such, as a new member, you will be given a 3 month "get to know us" grace period where you are not required to participate. However, after that 3 month period, you will be expected to participate with the group AT LEAST once a month. I understand that as we have issues with shyness/social an …
… That could mean shooting random people or found objects. The focus of the group is to use the urban environment and whatever or whomever it presents on any given day. We will do lots of shooting but also lots of gathering to talk about our photos, results, extra learning, etc. All levels and abilities are welcome! The only prerequisite is that you want to be shooting as much as possible, view no time as a bad time to shoot, and have vast amounts of fun while doing it. As featured in the Londonis …

-Are you the sort of person who likes to derail a conversation for the fun of it? -Ever enjoy creating awkwardness purely because you find it funny? -Do you enjoy having deep and random conversations? -Ever laughed so much a little bit of wee came out? If yes, this group is for you. We will be organising odd and interesting events centered around conversation challenges. For example; intellectual dinners in which you will have a secret challenge to incorporate certain silly phrases and sentenc …
… Use the message board to make random invites if you're planning a session a night or two ahead. It feels much safer and more fun sharing the wonders of the night sky with others. Its easy to find talks to go to around/near London to learn and the web always has plenty of news and info, so this meetup group is primarily for meeting up in the evenings to see the stars, the moon, planets or deep sky objects (if there are suitable telescopes around). Common meeting grounds might be Tooting Common, …
